Through this partnership, provides administrative, clinical and consultative services to the DHHR Bureau for Medical Services, Bureau for Children & Families and Bureau for Behavioral Health & Health Facilities that result in a more effective and efficient system of care for West Virginia. The ASO has been serving WV since August 2000. As the West Virginia ASO, also assists in the development and management of a high quality, accountable, public sector healthcare system for an array of programs that include: behavioral health, medical, socially necessary, nursing home pre-admission screening, Aged & Disabled Waiver, Intellectual/Developmental Disability (I/DD) Waiver, TBI Waiver, BBHHF, WV Health Homes, School Based Health, and Transportation. ’s West Virginia ASO is committed to delivering effective and efficient utilization management, training and consultations, quality improvement activities to improve quality of care for member’s and ensure providers can perform to standards.
